
Dr. Mendoza is a Clinical Biochemist in an Acting Consultant post in the NHS who works to support remote and rural hospitals in the Scottish Highlands. She has a passion for using IT to change and enhance laboratory workflows and improve patient care. She has been a Clinical Biochemist in the NHS for 13 years working in Ninewells Hospital in Dundee and Raigmore Hospital in Inverness where she worked in specialist biochemistry in toxicology, endocrine, and myeloma services.
Dr. Mendoza previously worked in academia. She has a PhD from St. Andrews University in protein biochemistry and undertook postdoctoral work in cell signalling at the MRC Phosphorylation unit in Dundee with Sir Philip Cohen.
