Judy FitzgeraldJudy Fitzgerald has close to 30 years’ experience working as a Pathology Scientist managing both multidiscipline laboratories and departments specialising in Transfusion Medicine and Haematology.

With experience in labs ranging from single scientist rural facilities to large tertiary hospital pathology departments across both public and private sector services in Victoria and Queensland, Judy used this experience to transition to managing systems where she has served as Director of Clinical Information Systems Support in QLD Health managing state-wide information systems for Pathology and Pharmacy and later on as Delivery Director overseeing a number of large enterprise clinical and business ICT projects.

Recently at Mater Health Services in Brisbane, Jude led a team supporting systems within the Mater business areas of Pathology, Radiology and Pharmacy, introducing strategic focus and business prioritisation as a service delivery model.

Judy has post graduate qualifications in Business, specifically Public Sector Management, Project and Program Management and Front Line Management.

She has a passion for change, business improvement and workflow analysis and uses this to apply the synergies of changing technologies with the need to improve business capability and efficiencies.
