Christine studied medicine at Queens University Belfast and then began training in Pathology in The Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, and Belfast City Hospital.

She currently works part-time in Craigavon Area Hospital as a Specialty Doctor in the Cellular Pathology Department, developing expertise in specimen dissection.

As well as some undergraduate medical student teaching, she also has a role implementing the training requirements of the Human Tissue Authority across the Southern Trust area.

Outside work Christine enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, Matt and Tim.

Title: Pathology Imaging System – a User’s Perspective and wishlist for the future

Over the past 18 months the Cellular Pathology Laboratory in Craigavon Area Hospital, Northern Ireland, has been getting used to a Pathology Imaging system.  This short talk will look at the journey so far, and what may lie in the future for a DGH Cell Path Laboratory using such technology systems
